Levels of Educational Programs Available
Diploma of Leadership & Management
- Learners will acquire knowledge to plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
- Course Duration: 52 weeks (including breaks)
- Eligibility: Satisfactorily completed Year 12 or equivalent
- English Requirement: IELTS 5.5 or minimum of 6 weeks of upper intermediate level ELICOS.
- Fees: AUD 10,000 (varying from provider to provider)
Advanced Diploma of Leadership & Management
- Designed to train learners in business management to develop their skills and certify they are capable to achieve the industry standards.
- Course Duration: 52 weeks (including breaks)
- Eligibility: Satisfactorily completed Year 12 or equivalent

Visa Requirement
- A valid passport for the duration of the study in Australia
- Unconditional offer letter from the university or institution
- Evidence of access to sufficient funds
- Proof of Overseas Student Health Cover
- Other relevant documents listed on the Department of Home Affairs visa checklist
PR Pathway
Completion of these courses from any of the recognized provider can lead to a positive Skill Assessment from the body. This occupation is listed on the STSOL and ROL and one can qualify for Permanent Residency Visa.

What Nurse Managers Do?
- Manage health service units and sub-units of hospitals, aged care and community health care facilities
- Supervise nursing staff and financial resources to enable the provision of safe, cost effective nursing care within specified fields or for particular units
- Monitor quality, clinical standards and professional development of nurses
Tasks Include
- Developing, implementing and monitoring policies and objectives of nursing care as they apply to units, staff and community groups
- Coordinating the allocation of human and material resources for a health service unit such as recruitment of staff, human resource management, preparation of budgets and fiscal management
- Monitoring and controlling the performance of nursing and support staff within the unit, and providing leadership
- Initiating studies to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services in the unit in relation to objectives, costs and nursing care
- Promoting working relationships with community agencies and health and education providers
- Contributing to organisational objectives in relation to quality, safety and risk management
