The Temporary Work (short stay specialist) (subclass 400), as the name implies, is a temporary visa that allows up to three months of specialized, non-ongoing work in Australia for activities or work related to Australia’s interests. Here comes one condition that the applicant should be outside the country during the time of application and visa grant.

• In Australia, your visit may be extended for up to three months, and under exceptional conditions, for up to six months. Note, that the day you enter in Australia is the start of your stay.
• You are allowed to bring eligible family members to Australia.
• If you are permitted multiple entry visa, you can go to Australia on a regular basis.

• You must be only engage in highly specialized, brief, and non-permanent work or activities in the country.
• You must possess qualities or a relevant work history for the work or activity you are engaging in
• You must have sufficient funds to support yourself and family members for the duration of your stay
• You must possess provisions from the organization that extended an invitation for you to work in Australia
• You must fulfil the prerequisites for character and health as per the Australia’s standards.
