Points Allotment for Skilled Visa (subclass 491)

De Facto Partners and Skilled Spouses get ten points each.
Applicant receiving nomination from a state or territory government, or sponsorship from family members residing in remote Australia, are given fifteen points.
Applicants without permanent residency or Australian citizenship but have a spouse or de facto partner fluent in English are given five points.
Applicants with qualifications in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) are given 10 points.
